On Aug 20, 2014, a stray dog, Not Snow, entered into the area of train station and walking on the track. A train approaching was stopped outside station for a few minutes. Not Snow then stood under the lip of the platform, seeking help for escape. Station staff tried to pull Not Snow up with chair or so but they had no training in handling dogs on tracks and failed. Somehow the train driver was advised to slowly drive to the platform. Later after the train was departed Not Snow was found dead on the track. Animal lovers were very angry and carried out funeral procession. Also more than 90,000 people signed a petition seeking an explanation from the MTR.
